However, the path hasn’t always been easy. Like many indie artists, I faced obstacles—self-doubt, financial challenges, and the daunting task of breaking into a competitive industry. But with every setback, I grew stronger and more determined. I realized that my love for music was not just a personal passion; it was a calling to inspire others, just as I had been inspired by the artists I admired.
With a heart full of ambition, I founded MCV Signature , a space where artists could thrive and express their unique stories. My home studio, equipped with top-notch gear, became a sanctuary for creativity, allowing me to collaborate with talented individuals who share the same vision of pushing musical boundaries. Together, we craft sounds that resonate deeply, drawing on the rich tapestry of our experiences.
But my journey doesn't stop at music. I wanted to share my love for the art in a tangible way, leading to the creation of my music-themed apparel line. Through stylish designs, I aim to blend fashion with the vibrant energy of music, allowing fans to wear their passion proudly. Michael Cornelius VanderDoes
Founder & Artist
With nearly a decade of teaching experience and a lifelong passion for music, Lindsay brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to her students. Her journey began early—she’s been singing since childhood and possesses perfect pitch, a rare talent that has honed her ear and elevated her abilities. In 2015, she began teaching vocal lessons at a children’s community theater, where she discovered her love for helping students find their voices.
By 2017, after gaining experience and refining her methods, Lindsay transitioned into private vocal coaching, where her students thrived under her guidance. Her commitment to her craft led her to expand her expertise further, and by 2018, she was teaching guitar, ukulele, and vocal lessons, providing her students with a well-rounded musical foundation.
As a vocalist, Lindsay has performed at the highest levels. She was a member of the elite Northwest Honor Choir and the All-State Honor Choir and showcased her talent in competitive chamber and jazz choirs throughout high school. Her dedication and skill took her to the state level as a vocalist, a testament to her talent and hard work.
Beyond her work in music, Lindsay is the creative force behind our apparel line. She designs unique, stylish pieces that reflect the spirit of our music. With a keen eye for aesthetics and a background in media, she brings our brand to life through captivating visuals. Her passion for creativity and detail ensures that each design is not just a product but a piece of art that fans can wear proudly.
Today, Lindsay is more than an instructor; she’s a mentor who empowers each student to develop their unique voice and confidence. Her approach is supportive yet professional, and she tailors her lessons to meet each student’s goals—whether they’re just starting or ready to perform. Michael Vanderdoes has been captivated by music since childhood. His journey began with the guitar, an instrument he picked up after his cousin assured him it would be a way to impress. But what started as a casual interest soon blossomed into a lifelong passion. Michael fell in love not only with the guitar but also with the art of songwriting, which opened the door to exploring multiple instruments, including piano, drums, and bass. This foundation of musical versatility laid the groundwork for his deep dive into music production.
Self-driven and determined, Michael taught himself the basics of recording, experimenting with tools like BandLab and GarageBand to capture his sound. His dedication to learning the craft of music production eventually led him to pursue a formal certification, solidifying his technical knowledge and showcasing his commitment to the art. With years of hands-on experience and education, Michael has built a professional-grade studio, complete with top-of-the-line equipment, where he brings artists’ visions to life.
Michael’s musical journey includes performing at the highest levels during high school, where he competed at the state level as both a solo vocalist and as part of elite jazz and chamber choirs. He has also taken the stage to perform his original music in front of large audiences at events, sharing his voice and unique sound with others.
As the founder of MCV Signature Records, Michael is dedicated to helping artists tell their stories and capture their unique sound. He understands the challenges and rewards of being an independent artist and strives to provide a supportive, collaborative environment for each client. At the heart of the studio is a full-sized MIDI piano with realistic pedals, offering an authentic playing experience that bridges the gap between traditional and modern music-making. Complementing this centerpiece are two high-quality speakers and a sleek monitor, ensuring clarity and precision in sound reproduction.
The studio is equipped with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th audio interface, enabling high-quality recordings and seamless integration of various instruments. A professional microphone mounted on a sturdy mic stand captures vocals with exceptional detail, while premium headphones facilitate accurate mixing and mastering.
In addition to the MIDI piano, the studio features an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar, a ukulele, and a unique music maker harp, providing a diverse array of sound options to inspire creativity. The room’s acoustic treatment enhances sound quality, creating an environment where every note resonates beautifully.
